Distance Learning/Home Study
Following many enquiries I have recently developed a six module course which is delivered via email as illustrated pdf notes and video demos. Assignments are scanned and emailed to me for personal appraisal and guidance.

You cannot attend classes due to location, health, time, work or family constraints?
Scenario 2
You have taken some classes but would like a refresher – or to make further progress. Classroom learning is great, it exposes one to new ideas, new methods of working, and the chance to experience how others approach botanical art. Sometimes, despite good tuition you start to hit problems just as the class finished.
You can be left with many questions but no
continuing tutor support.
Distance learning could
provide the answers.
Well structured home tuition in botanical drawing and painting is now as close as your computer!
How long is the course?
Its flexible as the pace is controlled by you. Work through the modules in sequence as you are ready. Choose to supplement home study with short periods of face to face tuition if it suits. One distance learning pupil, from Japan, came to the UK recently for a few days 1-2-1 tuition. She made tremendous progress and continues to work through the modules at home.
Personal tuition
Not everyone likes to learn in a group. Tuition on a 1-2-1 or 1-2-2 basis, designed around your needs and goals encourages rapid results. Suitable for a beginner who wants to get started, an intermediate who wants to work through perceived problems or an artist of any level who needs appraisal of their work and guidance on ‘where to go next’. email Elaine to discuss how she may be able to help.
Please note for personal tuition at your location I charge moderate travel/expenses in addition to a tuition fee.
